Inaugural New Town Revue–Friday, October 21, 7:30 PM

The New Town Revue’s inaugural performance will coincide with the grand opening of Avid Bookshop, 493 Prince Avenue (next to Daily Groceries) in Athens, GA.

We are thrilled to have the poet Sabrina Orah Mark read from her work,  and to hear Madeline Adams sing and play. The show starts promptly at 7:30—don’t be late!!!

What is New Town Revue?

The New Town Revue is a bi-monthly reading and music series showcasing Athens literary and music talent: fiction, poetry, essays, storytelling, and songwriting. However, we differ from your average reading. Each of our performers will command the mike for no more than ten minutes. As previously mentioned, we also include musicians into our repertoire.

We love good writing- fiction, poetry, essays, storytelling, and songwriting. If you would like to read or perform,  please contact us at newtownrevue@gmail.com.
