We are excited to announce the lineup for the latest installment of New Town Revue, which will be Friday, September 6, from 6:30-7:30 at Avid Bookshop.
Ari Lieberman will read from his new novel.
Thibault Raoult will perform some poems.
Kara Kildare (Kill Kill Buffalo) will play some songs.
Ari Lieberman was born in Mexico and grew up in Israel. He studied creative writing at Cornell and comparative literature at Princeton, and now teaches the latter at the University of Georgia. He has published fiction and criticism, and started a collaborative storytelling project, uprightdown.com, where he operated under the pen names Ari Stophanes and Lee Berman. His Hebrew novel Alufey hatmimut (The Champions of Innocence) will be published in early 2014 by Yediot Books.
Thibault Raoult (MFA, Brown) lives in Athens, Georgia and edits RealPoetik. His latest publication is Communist Couplets (Projective Industries, 2013).
Kara Kildare is well known for her singing and piano playing with the band Kill Kill Buffalo.
