Saturday, March 29, New Town Revue with Jeff Jackson, Megan McShea, and James A. Wilson We can hardly wait for the next New Town Revue featuring Jeff Jackson, author of Mira Corpora, poet Megan McShea, who wrote A Mountain City of Toad Splendor, and Athens’ own James A. Wilson providing music. Show begins at 6:30. Don’t be late!

Jeff Jackson is the author of the novel MIRA CORPORA, published by Two Dollar Radio. It’s a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and made various “Best of 2013” lists, including Salon, Slate, and Flavorwire. His short fiction has appeared in Guernica, Vice, and The Collagist. Five of his plays have been produced by the Obie Award-winning Collapsable Giraffe company in New York City. Megan McShea is the author of A Mountain City of Toad Splendor, put out by Publishing Genius Press in 2013, and she recently published a book of collaborative writing called Ancient Party. Both books were compiled during residencies at the Hambidge Center. Her writing has recently appeared in Shattered Wig ReviewWORMS Quarterly, Furious Season, and the Enoch Pratt Free Library’s “Poetry and Conversation” blog.

Multi- instrumentalist Jim Wilson has played with Taxicab Verses, Moths, and so many more. Pete Urchick and Jason Trahan will join him.
