American Book Award-winner Jericho Brown headlines this Thursday’s New Town Revue

Jericho Brown is the recipient of fellowships from the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University and the National Endowment for the Arts. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Nation, The New Yorker, The New Republic, and The Best American Poetry. His first book, PLEASE, won the American Book Award, and his second book, THE NEW TESTAMENT, was recently released by Copper Canyon Press. Brown is an assistant professor in the creative writing program at Emory University.

Alex Gallo-Brown is the recipient of a 2013-2014 Walthall fellowship for emerging artists in Atlanta. His essays, poems, and stories have appeared at The Rumpus, Los Angeles Review of Books, Salon, Everyday Genius, The Monarch Review, and elsewhere.

Erin Lovett, dubbed “one of Athens’ most important musical voices” by Flagpole Magazine, is the vocalist behind Four Eyes, whose new album made Flagpole’s best of 2014 list. Listen to the album at
